Troy has lost its first three games of the 2014 season, including a 38-35 decision last week at home to Abilene Christian. Brandon Silvers completed 12-of-21 passes for 187 yards with one touchdown in the loss, while Chandler Worthy led the Trojans in receptions with six grabs for 88 yards.
After beating Clemson 45-21 in their season opener, the Bulldogs lost a 38-35 shootout to South Carolina on the road last week. Todd Gurley rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries while quarterback Hutson Mason completed 16-of-22 passes for 191 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. Those performances weren’t enough, however, as Georgia’s defense allowed 447 total yards of offense, including 176 yards on the ground.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Georgia is a 41-point favorite over Troy, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 64.5 points. The Bulldogs opened as 35-point favorites but the spread has jumped up, while the total opened at 69 and has dropped down.
