The featured game this week is an ACC clash as No. 3 Clemson hosts No. 5 Florida State at 8PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers at the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas, Florida State is favored on the road, as the Seminoles have odds of -3 points at Clemson. The over/under total for the game has not been set. Clemson is 6-0 overall, 4-0 in the ACC, 4-0 at home and 3-3 against the spread. Florida State is 5-0 overall, 3-0 in the ACC, 2-0 on the road and 4-1 against the spread. The home team has won six straight in this series, but Clemson has covered in four straight against FSU.
The other featured game of Week 8 is a Pac-12 showdown featuring No. 13 Stanford hosting No. 9 UCLA at 3:30PM ET (View Matchup). According to oddsmakers, Stanford is favored at home, as the Cardinal have odds of -4.5 points against the Bruins. The over/under total for the game has yet to be set. Stanford is 5-1 overall, 3-1 in the Pac-12, 3-0 at home and 2-4 against the spread. UCLA is 5-0 overall, 2-0 in conference play, 2-0 on the road and 5-0 against the spread. Stanford has won five straight over UCLA and covered the spread in four of those five wins.
