Sun Belt Conference Odds
(The Spread) β The 2011 Sun Belt Conference should be somewhat of a crap shoot as oddsmakers are having a hard time establishing a clear favorite to win the conference title.

According to oddsmakers from Bodog, Florida International is the favorite to win the conference with 9/4 odds. Other short odds to win are Troy (5/2), Arkansas State (5/1), and Louisiana Monroe (5/1).
FIU won the 2010 conference title as it went 7-6 overall and 6-2 in conference play. The Golden Panthers return their quarterback and five players that have combined to average nearly 200 rushing yards per game.
Troy won a share of the Sun Belt title last season and has won at least a share in the last five seasons. The Trojans were 8-5 last season and 6-2 in conference play. Troy returns quarterback Corey Robinson, who threw for 3,726 yards and 28 touchdowns.
Arkansas State last won the conference title in 2005, in a three way tie. The Red Wolves were 4-8 last season and 4-4 in conference play. Arkansas State does return many of its top skill players from an offense that averaged over 400 yards per game.
Louisiana Monroe last won the conference title in 2005 in a tie with Arkansas State and Louisiana Lafayette. The Warhawks were 5-7 last season and 4-4 in conference play. ULM has 10 starters back on offense, including quarterback Kolton Browning, who threw for 2,552 yards and 18 touchdowns as a freshman last season.
