College Football Week 5 Updated Odds

(The Spread) – Before making any wagers on Week 5’s action in college football, check out the latest odds.

One of the best non-conference games on the Week 5 schedule will take place at Cowboys Stadium today at Noon. No. 13 Texas A&M squares off against No. 18 Arkansas in a battle between two one-loss teams. After opening as 3-point favorites, the Aggies are now –2.5 according to oddsmakers.

There’s a great battle in the ACC tonight at 6:00PM ET when No. 10 Virginia Tech hosts No. 15 Clemson in Blacksburg. Both teams are 4-0 but despite the Tigers’ impressive victory against Florida State last Saturday, they find themselves as 7-point road dogs against the Hokies. One of the reasons why is because Clemson has recently struggled against VA Tech, dropping its last five games against the spread versus the Hokies.

The marquee battle in the Big Ten will take place in Wisconsin at 8:00PM ET as the No. 7 Badgers host the No. 8 Nebraska Cornhuskers in a battle of undefeated teams. The Huskers are 10-point road underdogs against the Badgers, who are 6-0 against the spread in their last six conference games according to latest college football trends.

Perhaps the biggest game of the night is in the SEC where No. 12 Florida will host No. 2 Alabama at 8:00PM ET in “The Swamp.” The Crimson Tide are currently 4-point favorites and are 7-1-1 against the spread in their last nine games against the Gators. That said, the home team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings between these two teams while the underdog is 6-2-1 ATS in the last nine games.
