(The Spread) – Which teams that meet in Week 5 hold the historical edge against each other when it comes to the trends?
Two undefeated ACC teams will clash in Blacksburg tonight when No. 10 Virginia Tech hosts No. 15 Clemson at 6:00PM ET. According to latest college football trends, the Tigers are 0-5 against the spread in their last five games versus the Hokies but they’re 19-8 ATS in their last 27 games as an underdog.
In the SEC, No. 12 Florida hosts No. 2 Alabama at 8:00PM ET. The Gators are 4-point underdogs against the Crimson Tide, who are 7-1-1 against the spread in their last nine meetings with Florida. But the home team is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings between these two team, while the underdog is 6-2-1 ATS in the last nine meetings.

Oddsmakers have installed the No. 18 Arkansas Razorbacks as 2.5-point underdogs against the No. 13 Texas A&M Aggies at 12:00PM ET today. The Aggies are 0-6-1 against the spread in their last seven games versus the SEC and 0-8 in their last eight neutral site contests. The Razorbacks, meanwhile, are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games versus the Big 12 and 11-4 AS in their last 15 games overall.
Finally, new Big Ten rivals Nebraska and Wisconsin will meet tonight at 8:00PM ET, where the Badgers are 10-point favorites against the Cornhuskers. Nebraska is 1-4 against the spread in its last five games overall and 0-4 ATS in its last four games after accumulating more than 450 yards in its previous game. On the other side, the Badgers are 6-0 against the spread in their last six conference games and 7-0-1 ATS in their last eight home games.
