In terms of the player to score first, Auburn’s Cam Newton and Oregon’s LaMichael James are the favorites to do that as each has 7/2 odds. The field comes in with 5/1 odds while the improbable no touchdowns scored has 1,000/1 odds.

For Auburn, when breaking down the touchdowns, it is easy to see why Newton is a favorite. Aside from throwing 28 touchdown passes, which don’t count in this wager, he also has 20 rushing touchdowns, which leads the team. Running back Onterio McCalebb has a nose for the end zone as well, as he has nine rushing touchdowns, most of any back for Auburn. McCalebb has 10/1 odds to score the first touchdown. In the receiving department, two players are tied with 7 scores. Darvin Adams and Emory Blake each have seven receiving touchdowns. Adams has had more overall receptions as he has 48 while Blake has 28. Adams and Blake each have 12/1 odds to score first.

For Oregon, James has rushed for 21 touchdowns on the year and he is the primary ball carrier. James also has a receiving touchdown. Quarterback Darron Thomas has rushed for five scores and his primary receiving target it Jeff Maehl, who has 12 receiving touchdowns and 68 overall receptions, which is nearly double the receptions of the next closes receiver for Oregon. Maehl has 8/1 odds to score first while Thomas has 12/1 odds.
