According to oddsmakers from Bodog, both Florida State and Virginia Tech are favored to win the ACC this year as each team has 7/4 odds to win. Miami has 9/2 odds to win.

Florida State has won the ACC title 12 times in program history, with the last coming in 2005. Last year, the Seminoles won the Atlantic Division with a 10-4 overall record and a 6-2 conference record. FSU is losing quarterback Christian Ponder, which will be a big challenge for the Seminoles this season.

Virginia Tech has won the ACC title four times, including last year’s championship. The Hokies went 11-3 overall and 8-0 in conference play. Tyrod Taylor threw for 2,743 yards and 24 touchdowns last season for the Hokies at quarterback, and they now need to find a way to replace his production.

Miami has never won the ACC title in program history, though the Hurricanes have not been in the conference for long. Miami was 7-6 last year and 5-3 in the ACC. Miami has a new coach in Al Golden, who comes over from Temple. Miami will bring back Jacory Harris, the quarterback that threw for 1,793 yards and 14 touchdowns last season. He also threw 15 interceptions though. His performance will be key to Miami’s success.
