CFB Week 14 Injury Report

With championships and potential BCS Bowl appearances on the line, injuries will play a big factor in Week 14 of the College Football Season. Here is a look at the key injuries for Saturday.

In the SEC Championship, South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia is dealing with a shoulder injury but expected to play against Auburn. According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com have the Gamecocks as a 5.5-point underdog for the game.

Another big injury this weekend is Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray, who is questionable with a leg injury. Murray and the Sooners take on Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship and the Sooners are favored by 4.5 points in the game.

2010 College Football Week 14 Injury Report (Top 25 Games Only)

Rutgers vs. No. 23 West Virginia, Noon ET

WVU linebacker Donovan Miles is questionable for the game with a head injury while Rutgers running back Joe Martinek is questionable with an ankle injury.

No. 14 Nevada vs. Louisiana Tech, 3PM ET

Nevada running back Lampford Mark is out for Saturday’s game with a knee injury while Louisiana Tech defensive back Chad Boyd is questionable with a neck injury.

Utah State vs. No. 9 Boise State, 3PM ET

Utah State safety Walter McClenton is questionable for Saturday’s game with an ankle injury while Boise State linebacker Byron Hout will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.

No. 1 Oregon vs. Oregon State, 3:30PM ET

Oregon receivers Nick Cole and Lavasier Tuinei each are questionable with respective injuries while Oregon State defensive tackle Brennan Olander is questionable with a pectoral injury.

No. 2 Auburn vs. No. 18 South Carolina, 4PM ET

South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia is dealing with a shoulder injury but is expected to play while Auburn has no new injuries to report for the game.

No. 20 Florida State vs. No. 12 Virginia Tech, 7:45PM ET

Virginia Tech cornerbacks Chris Hill and Rashad Carmichael are both probable for Saturday’s game despite ankle injuries while Florida State running backs Jermaine Thomas and Ty Jones are both questionable with injuries.

No. 13 Nebraska vs. No. 10 Oklahoma, 8PM ET

Nebraska quarterbacks Taylor Martinez and Zac Lee are both day-to-day with respective injuries while Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray is questionable with a leg injury.

UNLV vs. No. 25 Hawaii, 10:30PM ET

UNLV running back C.J. Cox is doubtful for Saturday’s game with an arm injury while Hawaii defensive lineman Geordon Hanohano is questionable with a knee injury.
