HOUSTON (AP) – Andrew Goudelock scored 21 points, and Kenneth Faried had 17 points and 18 rebounds to lead the West team to a 113-108 win over the East in the Reese’s college All-Star game on Friday afternoon.
Morehead State’s Faried wowed the crowd with his rim-rattling dunks but also got a few giggles when he missed a one-hander. Faried, the all-time Division I rebounder in the modern era, dominated the boards to help the West rally from a 13-point second-half deficit.
Goudelock, from the College of Charleston, made five 3-pointers for the West, and Michigan State’s Kalin Lucas added 18 points.
The East team was led by Georgetown’s Austin Freeman, who had 21 points.
