NEW YORK (AP) -Chris Vann scored 14 of his 18 points in the first half and Mount St. Mary’s handed St. Francis, N.Y. its eighth straight loss, 68-60 on Thursday night.
Jeremy Goode added 14 points for the Mountaineers (7-6, 3-0 Northeast Conference).
Robert Hines scored 20 points for the Terriers (3-11, 0-3).
St. Francis closed within 51-46 on a free throw by Vass Yessoufou with 6:33 to go. Will Holland had two 3-pointers in Mount St. Mary’s 10-2 run that made it 61-48 with 3:19 to play.
The Terriers got as close as 64-57 on a layup by Marcus Williams with 45 seconds remaining.
