OREM, Utah (AP) -Ryan Toolson scored 22 points to lead Utah Valley State to an 86-57 win over Great Falls on Saturday.
The Wolverines (3-2) turned 18 Argonauts (1-6) turnovers into 29 points en route to the victory. Utah Valley State shot 49.1 percent from the field, with Great Falls shooting only 36.5 percent for the game.
Utah Valley led 23-21 with 5:44 left in the first half and then went on an 18-4 run to give them a 41-25 halftime lead.
The Wolverines put away Great Falls with a 13-4 run in the first 10 minutes of the second half.
Three other Utah Valley players scored in double figures including Jabir Jinna’s 15 points from behind the arc.
The Wolverine’s bench outscored Great Fall’s 56-19.
The Argonauts were led by Cory Brothers’ 18 points and Matt Niemeyer’s game-high 10 rebounds.
