LOS ANGELES (AP) -UCLA forward James Keefe will miss four to six weeks after injuring his left shoulder.
A team spokesman said Wednesday that Keefe injured himself a night earlier, but no details were given. Results of a MRI were negative, although there was some instability to the joint.
Keefe had surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder that forced him to miss the first 12 games of the 2007-08 season.
The senior averaged 3.0 points and 3.4 rebounds last season.
The Bruins open the season on Nov. 16 against Cal State Fullerton.
