PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) – Don’t go looking for superstars on this year’s Washington State basketball team, with Klay Thompson gone to the NBA and DeAngelo Casto off to play pro basketball in Turkey.
But the Cougars do have three starters and several other key players back from last year’s NIT semifinal team.
Reggie Moore, Marcus Capers and Abe Lodwick are the returning starters, with Faisal Aden and Brock Motum among key reserves from last season.
Coach Ken Bone says the key will be playing team-oriented basketball.
