Blake Griffin took down Syracuse – and the nation’s No. 1 fan.
President Barack Obama went 1-for-2 from the field Friday night, winning with Louisville but losing with Oklahoma in his NCAA tournament bracket.
The split sunk Obama into the bottom 40 percent of the 5-plus million people who entered ESPN.com’s pool.
Obama predicted Syracuse would be able to stop Griffin and Oklahoma, but wound up on the wrong end of an 84-71 game. The president picked North Carolina and Michigan State to win later and reach the regional finals.
The president has lost one of his Final Four teams – Memphis. He has North Carolina beating Louisville for the national championship.
