HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) -Marshall junior forward Tyler Wilkerson will be out two to three weeks with a broken right hand, while junior guard Chris Lutz will miss about a week with a sprained knee.
Coach Donnie Jones said Thursday that Wilkerson, Marshall’s top rebounder last season, is expected to be ready for the season opener, Nov. 16 against West Virginia Tech.
Lutz sat out last season as a transfer from Purdue.
The Thundering Herd are already without senior swingman Markel Humphrey, who is expected to miss about another month with a stress fracture in his left foot.
