BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) -Jonathan Rodriguez scored 23 points and had 12 rebounds to lead Campbell to a 91-67 victory over UNC-Pembroke on Saturday.
Lorne Merthie added 14 points and eight rebounds to help the Camels (3-6) break a five-game losing streak.
Campbell led 21-19 with 9:50 remaining in the first half before outscoring the Braves 24-13 to take a 45-32 halftime lead.
The Camels increased their advantage to 62-33 on Merthie’s 3-pointer with 12:43 remaining.
Jabril Bailey added 13 points, Kyle Vejraska scored 12 points and Preston Dodson finished with 12 points for Campbell.
Demarcus Lyday led UNC-Pembroke (2-7) with 24 points.
