College Basketball Betting Trends
The Golden Gophers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven Thursday games. The road team is 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings.
The Fighting Illini are 1-4 ATS in their last five Thursday games. The favorite is 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings.
Illinois has beaten some solid teams during its current hot streak and with Minnesota coming off a rough loss, I feel this spread could be another point wider. The Fighting Illini could be in a letdown situation after a fantastic win, but they’ve been grounded and disciplined during the hot stretch thus far. With the favorite dominating this series of late and the Golden Gophers being only 1-6 on the road this season, I’ll side with the hosts.
