(The Spread) – It will be difficult to top some of the crazy and exciting finishes that the first full day of the NCAA Tournament, but with 16 more games on tap Friday anything is possible during March Madness.

Among the matchups Friday that should be highly competitive is in Tulsa, Okla., where the fifth-seeded Arizona Wildcats (27-7) take on the 12th-seeded Memphis Tigers (25-9). Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com have made Arizona 5.5-point favorites, while the over-under is set at 139.5. Action begins at approximately 2:45PM EST.
According to the latest trends, Memphis is 22-37 against the spread in all games over the last two seasons. Memphis is also 6-18 ATS in non-conference games over the last two seasons. The Tigers are 114-72 ATS when playing against a team with a winning record after 15 or more games since 1997.
Prior to the NCAA Tournament, Arizona had won four in a row before losing 77-75 in overtime to Washington in the Pac-10 Tournament final. Memphis enters play with a four-game winning streak after coming back from double digits down in a 67-66 victory over UTEP in the Conference USA Tournament title game to earn the automatic bid.
Freshman guard Will Barton is the lone Memphis player averaging double figures as he puts in 12.3 ppg, while Arizona’s Derrick Williams is the only Wildcat who puts in a double figures average as he scores 19.1 per game.
Beginning the NCAA Tournament day will be a 12:15PM EST game between No. 4 seed Texas and No. 13 Oakland. Texas is a 10.5-point favorite and the over-under is currently 154. No. 9 Tennessee plays No. 8Michigan at 12:40PM EST. The Volunteers are 1.5-point favorites, while the over-under is 127.5. Top-seeded Ohio State faces No. 16 Texas-San Antonio at 4:40PM EST. The Buckeyes are 23.5-point favorites and the over-under is 138. No. 1 Duke plays No. 16 Hampton at 3:10PM EST. Duke is a 23-point favorite and the over-under sits at 134. Fellow No. 1 seed Kansas starts at 6:50PM EST versus Boston. Kansas is a 22.5-point favorite and the over-under is 136.
