(The Spread) – There are no top-25 games on Friday’s schedule, but there are a few key battles in MAAC and Ivy League play that will draw the attention of college basketball fans. Continue reading for opening odds, spreads and totals on all of Friday night’s games in the NCAA.

Rider is 15-8 overall and 7-4 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, while Loyola (MD) is 11-10 overall and 7-4 in MAAC play. The two squads meet up Friday night at 7:00PM EST with Rider hosting as both sides attempt to stay among the upper echelon teams within the conference.
Oddsmakers and online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Rider 7-point favorites in the contest. According to the latest trends, Rider is 10-9 against the spread this season while Loyola (MD) is 6-9 ATS.
Justin Robinson leads Rider in scoring at 15.9 points per game, while teammate Novar Gadson comes in at 12.8 ppg. Highlighting Loyola (MD) offensively is Shane Walker, who averages 11.0 ppg. Jamal Barney puts in 10.2 ppg for the Greyhounds.
Loyola (MD) comes in riding a positive stretch of games, having won five of its last six including Sunday’s 88-85 victory over Iona. Conversely, Rider had a three-game winning streak snapped Saturday as it was throttled 80-60 at St. Peter’s.
Another big game happens in the Ivy League as the top two teams in host Princeton (14-4, 2-0) and Harvard (15-3, 4-0) do battle at 7:00PM EST. Princeton is currently listed as a 2-point favorite.
