PARADISE, NV (TheSpread) – The 2015 Pac-12 Tournament gets underway on Wednesday, but can anyone in the field stop Arizona from winning?
The Pac-12 Tournament is a standard 12-team tournament that has the top four seeds getting a bye into the quarterfinals and four opening-round games on Wednesday. The tournament will conclude on Saturday with all games being played from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Arizona is the clear favorite to win this game, as the Wildcats are getting odds of 1/2 to win. Utah has been given 5/2 odds to win while both Oregon and UCLA have been given 10/1 odds.
Arizona is the top seed this week after going 28-3 on the season and 16-2 in the Pac-12. Arizona has won this tournament four times, with the last championship coming in 2002.
Utah is the No. 3 seed. The Utes were 23-7 on the season and 13-5 in Pac-12 play. Utah has never won the Pac-12 tournament.
Oregon is the No. 2 seed this week. The Ducks were 23-8 on the season and 13-5 in conference play. Oregon has won this tournament three times, last doing so in 2013.
UCLA is the fourth seed in this tournament. The Bruins were 19-12 on the season and 11-7 in conference play. UCLA has won this tournament four times as well and is the defending champion.
