INDIANAPOLIS, IN (TheSpread) – The Big Ten Tournament looks like it could be the most competitive tournament this week. Here is a look at the odds to win the championship.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Michigan State is the favorite to win, as the Spartans have 5/2 odds. Other short odds to win are Michigan (3/1), Wisconsin (13/4) and Iowa (9/2).
This is a standard 12-team tournament with four opening-round games on Thursday and the top four seeds having a bye into Friday’s quarterfinals. The championship game will be held Sunday with all games taking place at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Michigan State is the No. 3 seed in the tournament after going 12-6 in Big Ten play. The Spartans are 23-8 overall. The Spartans have won this tournament three times in program history, the last coming in 2012.
Michigan won the regular season title and is the No. 1 seed. The Wolverines are 15-3 in Big Ten play and 23-7 overall. The Wolverines have never won this tournament, as a prior title was later removed by the NCAA.
Wisconsin is the No. 2 seed. The Badgers went 12-6 in conference play and are 25-6 overall. The Badgers are two-time Big Ten Tournament champs. Their last title came in 2008.
Iowa is the No. 6 seed. The Hawkeyes were 9-9 in Big Ten play and are 20-11 overall. The Hawkeyes have also won this tournament two times. Their last championship came in 2006.
