MEMPHIS, TN (TheSpread) – The inaugural American Athletic Conference should be very competitive. Here is a look at the odds to win this tournament.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Louisville is the favorite to win, as it has 5/7 odds. Other short odds to win are Cincinnati (4/1), SMU (4/1), Memphis (9/2) and Connecticut (12/1).
This is a standard 10-team tournament with two opening-round games on Wednesday. The championship game will be held Saturday with all games being played at the FedEx Forum.
Louisville is the No. 2 seed in the tournament, as it went 15-3 in conference play and 26-5 overall. The Cardinals tied for the best AAC record, but lost a coin toss.
Cincinnati is the top seed in this tournament, as it went 15-3 in AAC play and was 26-5 overall.
SMU is the No. 3 seed in the tournament. The Mustangs went 23-8 on the season and 12-6 in AAC play. It has been a big year for SMU under coach Larry Brown.
Memphis is the No. 5 seed as it went 23-8 overall and 12-6 in conference play. The Tigers will meet the Huskies in their opening game.
Connecticut is the No. 4 seed in the tournament, as it also went 12-6 in AAC play and 24-7 overall. The Huskies will face the Tigers on Thursday.
