(The Spread) – After winning the last two years, it’s no surprise that oddsmakers favor UConn to win the 2011 Women’s NCAA Tournament.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made UConn –265 on the money line to win the 2011 NCAA Women’s Tournament, which makes the Lady Huskies a huge favorite.
UConn beat Stanford 53-47 in last year’s tournament and defeated Louisville 76-54 in 2009. Last year was the sixth time that the Huskies won the tournament in the last 11 years after also winning in 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2004. During that same span, they also reached the Final Four eight times.
The Huskies finished the regular season ranked No. 1 in both polls with an amazing 32-1 record. The lone loss came at the hands of Stanford, which finished No. 2 in the polls with a 29-2 overall record and is +800 to win this year’s tournament.
The team with the next best odds to win this year’s tourney is Baylor at +200, followed by the aforementioned Cardinal at +800. Tennessee is +1200 on the money line, while “The Field” is +1200 as well.
UConn will come out of the Philadelphia Region as a No. 1 seed, while Stanford is a No. 1 in the Spokane Region. Tennessee is the top seed in the Dayton Region, while Baylor is No. 1 in the Dallas Region. The Women’s NCAA Tournament kicks off on March 19th and will conclude with the championship played in Indianapolis on April 5.
