Southwest Regional Odds
(TheSpread) – The Southwest Regional has a clear favorite entering tournament play this week, as the Kansas Jayhawks seem to be head-and-shoulders above the rest of the field.

The Southwest Regional features some promising teams with clear questions outside of Kansas, which makes it easy to understand why the Jayhawks have such short odds at 13/10.
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com other short odds to win this regional are Notre Dame (13/4), Purdue (17/4), and Louisville (9/2).
Kansas dominated Big 12 play this year, as the Jayhawks went 32-2 on the season and won both the regular season and tournament titles in their conference. Kansas will be the top seed in the region and be looking to reach its 14th Final Four in program history. Kansas last went to a Final Four in 2008.
Notre Dame had somewhat of a surprising season, going 26-6 to finish second in the Big East standings. The Irish will be the No. 2 seed in this regional, and they are seeking just their second Final Four appearance ever. The Irish last went to the Final Four in 1978.
Purdue went 25-7 this season to finish second in the Big Ten. The Boilermakers will be the third seed in the region. Purdue has been to two Final Fours, the last of which came in 1980.
Louisville is the fourth seed, as it went 25-9 in a competitive Big East field. The Cardinals also reached the Big East Tournament finals before bowing out. Louisville has been to eight Final Fours in program history, the last of which came in 2005.
