There isnβt a deeper conference in college basketball than the Big East. Here is a look at which team is favored to win the 2011 Big East regular season championship.

In this tough conference, Pittsburgh and Villanova are the favorites to win the conference accoring to online sportsbook Sportsbook.com. Each team has odds of +260 to win. Other short odds to win are Syracuse (+425) and Georgetown (+650).
Pittsburgh and Villanova are both ranked in the top 10 as Pittsburgh is ranked fifth and Villanova seventh. Each is currently 3-0 in conference play and the Panthers are 15-1 on the season and Villanova is 14-1 overall. Pittsburgh hasnβt won the regular season title since 2004 while Villanova had a share of the title in 2006.
Syracuse is currently ranked fourth in the nation with a 16-0 record and a 3-0 Big East record. The Orange are the defending regular season conference champions.
