HOUSTON (AP) -Houston’s Kevin Martin will miss his second straight game because of a sore left shoulder when the Rockets host the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night.
The 6-foot-7 player who was acquired from Sacramento in the three-team deal that sent Tracy McGrady to the Knicks on Feb. 18, has averaged almost 22 points and 3.3 rebounds in his 17 games since the trade.
Martin, who is listed as day to day, also missed Thursday night’s loss to the Clippers which was Houston’s third straight defeat.
