SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -The Denver Nuggets are trying not to dwell on how much has changed in their opening-round playoff series against Utah.
The short-handed Jazz ended any hopes the Nuggets had of a sweep by winning Monday in Denver. Game 3 is Friday night in Utah and both teams have considerably different outlooks with the series tied at 1-1.
Denver acting coach Adrian Dantley says the Nuggets know they had plenty of chances in Game 2, but helped out Utah with some costly fouls and allowed Deron Williams to lead the Jazz to the win.
Now the Jazz host the next two games and will try to hang on to the home-court advantage they wrestled away from the Nuggets.
Williams says the split was a huge confidence boost for the Jazz, who are without two injured starters.
