INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Dallas Mavericks center Erick Dampier is expected to miss Friday night’s game at Indiana with a swollen left knee.
Dampier was not put on the team’s inactive list, but he also sat out Thursday night’s loss at Atlanta.
They are the first two games Dampier has missed all season.
He is expected to be replaced in the starting lineup by Ryan Hollins, who scored a career-high 13 points in a 95-87 loss to the Hawks.
Indiana will be without guard Marquis Daniels, who has a sprained right wrist. Coach Jim O’Brien said before the game that Daniels will also sit out Saturday at Charlotte.
