NEW YORK (AP) -The Los Angeles Lakers are one of three NBA teams who will begin the league’s exhibition season in Europe.
The New York Knicks and the Minnesota Timberwolves are the other teams chosen to take part in NBA Europe Live.
In an NBA release Tuesday, the league said the Lakers and Timberwolves will play at the O2 in London on Oct. 4. The Knicks and Timberwolves will meet in Paris two days later.
New York opens the tour Oct. 3 in Milan against Armani Jeans Milano, a homecoming for forward Danilo Gallinari and a return to Italy for Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni, who played and coached there.
The games end Oct. 7 when the Lakers play Regal FC Barcelona.
This is the fifth straight year of the Europe Live tour.
