AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) – Dwyane Wade is ready to move on after being suspended for Friday night’s game at Detroit.
The Miami guard was given a one-game ban by the NBA for flailing his leg and making contact with the groin of the Charlotte Bobcats’ Ramon Sessions. The incident happened during the Heat’s 105-92 victory over the Bobcats on Wednesday.
Wade says Friday the incident “could be taken any kind of way.” He tweeted Thursday that he’s not a dirty player and just reacted to contact.
Wade said he’d work out at the hotel, and he hopes he’ll be able to watch the game against the Pistons on TV. He quipped that needs to get NBA League Pass on his mobile phone but “it was expensive the last time I checked.”
