INDEPENDENCE, Ohio (AP) – Cavaliers forward Antawn Jamison did not practice because of soreness in his left knee and could miss Tuesday’s game against Atlanta.
Jamison has been bothered by tendinitis in his knee. The 34-year-old was kept out of some preseason games to deal with soreness. The Cavs said his status will be updated after Tuesday’s shootaround.
So far, he has come off the bench for new coach Byron Scott. In three games, Jamison, who has averaged nearly 20 points per game in his career, is averaging just 6.3.
Cavs guard Mo Williams is expected to make his season debut on Tuesday against the Hawks. He missed much of training camp and was held out of Cleveland’s first three games because of a groin injury.
