CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -Larry Brown is weighing whether to return for a third season as coach of the Charlotte Bobcats.
Brown said Friday he still wants to coach and won’t do it anywhere except in Charlotte for owner Michael Jordan. He also says he misses his wife and teenage children in Philadelphia and doesn’t want to miss them growing up.
Brown indicated he’ll sit down soon with his wife and decide on his future. He has two years remaining on his contract.
The Bobcats went 44-38 this season and reached the playoffs for the first time, only to be swept in the first round by Orlando.
Brown has coached a record 10 pro teams and has had three college head coaching jobs.
