MIAMI (AP) -The longest offseason of Michael Beasley’s young life is finally over.
Saying he’s stronger than ever, Beasley is expected to be the starting power forward for the Miami Heat on Wednesday night when the season opens against the New York Knicks.
It ends an offseason of discontent for the 20-year-old, replete with two infamous Twitter flameouts and a stay at a Houston rehabilitation facility. Sober now since Aug. 6, Beasley said his game will be better for it as well.
