ATLANTA (AP) -The Atlanta Hawks are making another move to keep their playoff roster together by reaching an agreement to re-sign center Zaza Pachulia.
The Hawks and Pachulia have agreed on a four-year contract, a person with knowledge of the negotiations told The Associated Press on Wednesday. The person requested anonymity because the deal has not been announced.
Hawks general manager Rick Sund declined comment.
Point guard Mike Bibby’s agent said Tuesday that Bibby, an unrestricted free agent, has agreed to a three-year deal to remain in Atlanta.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution first reported the agreement with Pachulia.
The 7-foot Pachulia averaged 6.2 points and 5.7 rebounds in 77 games, including 26 starts. He has played primarily as a backup behind Al Horford the last two years.
