Kyle Kuzma scored 17 points with six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one triple in 33 minutes vs. the Clippers on Wednesday. The arrival of Kristaps Porzingis hasn’t squeezed Kuzma’s value much, and the forward said he thinks the combination will help him on the court. “It was phenomenal,” Kuzma said. “Teams can’t just load up on me. Just having an extra guy out there that is a threat to defenses. He’s so versatile. He just made really, really good reads outside of just shooting and scoring.” Kuzma will get a matchup against his former Lakers on Friday followed by a game vs. a Portland team that was just clobbered by Utah.
Los Angeles Lakers DFS Notes
LeBron James hit 9-of-26 shots and 1-of-9 3-pointers for 23 points, 14 rebounds, 12 assists, a steal and four blocks in Wednesday’s 139-130 overtime loss to the Rockets. The Lakers have lost nine straight road games and are now 28-36 on the season and are still trying to hold off the No. 10 seeded Pelicans to hang onto the No. 9 seed for a play-in in the West. The Lakers are 2-8 over their last 10 games and while LeBron filled the stat sheet up for his fantasy managers, this was another disturbing loss for the Lakers. LeBron was iffy coming in due to his sore left knee but looked great when he was out there.
Wizards vs. Lakers NBA Betting Prediction
Both of these teams stink, so I won’t be laying the 4.5 points with the Lakers and somehow, 4.5 doesn’t feel enough to back the Wizards. The under, however, is a profitable 5-2 in the last seven meetings between these two teams and is 5-2 in the last seven meetings in L.A. The under is also 6-2 in the Wizards’ last eight road games, is 5-2 in their last seven games as a road dog and is 4-1 in the Lakers’ last five home games.
