Bradley Beal played 35 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Blazers, accounting for 37 points (16-of-27 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers. Beal has now scored 31 points or more in five of Washington’s last seven games, and he scored 24 and 25 points in the other two. He has been a star in fantasy basketball this season, providing 1st-round value in both 8- and 9-cat formats. And thanks in large part to Beal, the Wizards have won four games in a row for the first time in three seasons. If he and the Wizards can keep this run going, it’s fair to wonder if Beal can get himself into the MVP conversation at some point.
Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
LeBron James struggled to make shots against the Heat on Saturday and finished 19 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block. Bron shot 33% from the field, missing 14 of his 21 field goal attempts in a game the Lakers lost by two points. He did, however, make a great defensive play at the end game to set up Alex Caruso for a potential game-tying shot, which AC missed. And LeBron looked tired throughout the game, which could be an effect of not having Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder to help carry the offense. He’ll have one day to rest before LA takes on the Wizards followed by a Western Conference slate vs. the Jazz, Blazers and Dubs.
