Stephen Curry passed Ray Allen for sole possession of first place in all-time three-pointers made (including playoffs), celebrating with a 119-93 win over the Chicago Bulls on Friday with 40 points on 15-of-24 shooting. Steph added four rebounds, five dimes, one steal, one block, nine 3-pointers and six turnovers in 34 minutes. Simply put, Wardell Stephen Curry is a once-in-a-generation talent, and it took Steph 585 fewer games than Ray Allen to claim first place on the three-pointers list. He’s led the Warriors to an NBA-best 11-1 record, all without Klay Thompson and James Wiseman, and obviously Steph is a huge reason why. We’ve seem to run out of superlatives for Chef Curry, and his chances of winning yet another MVP award are increasing by the day. While fantasy took a backseat to accolades tonight, of course he’s crushing there too as the No. 1 player on a per game basis, because of course he is. Unbelievable stuff from the best shooter the world has ever seen.
Brooklyn Nets DFS Notes
Kevin Durant scored a game-high 33 points on 9-of-17 shooting (13-of-14 FT) Sunday, to go with eight rebounds, four assists, two triples, one steal and one turnover across 34 minutes in an easy win over OKC. After opening the 2021-22 season 1-2, the Nets have gone 8-1, and they’re currently riding a three-game win streak. KD has been the guiding force to their winning ways, averaging 29.4 points per game, which is his highest scoring average since the 2013-14 season, when he took home the MVP trophy while still wearing a Thunder jersey. James Harden double-doubled in the win with 16 points, 13 assists, six rebounds, one 3-pointer, three steals and six turnovers in 36 minutes.
