Golden State Warriors Daily Fantasy Spin

Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski (illness), shooting guard De’Anthony Melton (back), and power forward Draymond Green (knee) are all officially listed as questionable to play in Friday night’s game against the Cavaliers. Melton hasn’t played since October 27th. He’s averaging 6.3 points per game this season.

Podziemski is sixth on the team in scoring with 9.3 points per game on the campaign. Draymond Green is eighth on the club in scoring with 8.9 points per game this year. Jonathan Kuminga, Kyle Anderson, and Buddy Hield could all see more playing time if any of the three players listed above can’t play on Friday.

Cleveland Cavaliers Daily Fantasy Spin

Cavaliers power forward Dean Wade is questionable for Friday’s game with an illness. Wade is averaging 6.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in 7 starts for the Cavaliers this year. Isaac Okoro and Georges Niang will likely get more floor time if Wade is held out on Friday.

Cleveland shooting guard Max Strus will sit out Friday’s game due to hip and ankle injuries. He hasn’t suited up yet this season but averaged 12.2 points per contest in 70 regular season starts for the Cavaliers last season.

Golden State is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games against Cleveland.

Golden State is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

Cleveland is 28-33 ATS after a win since the start of last season.

Cleveland is 28-30-1 ATS when playing an opponent on equal rest since the beginning of last season.

Warriors vs. Cavaliers NBA Prediction:

This is a prime spot for Golden State. The Warriors are an NBA-best 19-10-1 ATS as an underdog since the start of last season. Golden State is also 14-8 ATS as a road underdog since the beginning of last year. Additionally, the Warriors have been great against Eastern Conference foes over the past year and change. Golden State is a league-best 22-10 ATS against non-conference opponents since the beginning of the 2023 campaign. I think there’s some value in taking Golden State on the money line, but I’ll take the Warriors and the points as the pick on Friday night.

Warriors vs. Cavaliers Prediction: GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS +4.5
