Portland Trail Blazers DFS Notes

Justise Winslow (right Achilles soreness) is being listed as out for Wednesday’s game against the Suns. Winslow has been an excellent fantasy option since being shipped to Portland, providing 7th round value over the past three weeks. Keon Johnson stepped into a starting role with Winslow out, but he didn’t do much from a fantasy perspective with his minutes. You’ll need to look elsewhere for fantasy production, since they’ve lost the last two games by a total of 69 points, and a matchup with the Suns won’t get any easier.

Phoenix Suns DFS Notes

Deandre Ayton tallied 23 points (11-of-15 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks, and one 3-pointer in Sunday’s 118-114 loss to the Jazz. Ayton hit his fourth 3-pointer of the season on Sunday, and he has now made a triple in consecutive games for the first time in his NBA career. By no means is Ayton becoming a long-range marksman, but the fact that he isn’t hesitating to take those shots is a positive development. With Chris Paul (thumb) likely out until the end of the regular season, the Suns are going to need a more assertive Ayton on the offensive end of the floor. After putting up just five shots in Thursday’s win over the Thunder, he’s had 27 (making 20) in his last two games.

Trail Blazers vs. Suns NBA Betting Prediction

On the other side, the over is 7-2 in the Suns’ last nine games overall, is 6-2 in their last eight games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and is 4-1-1 in their last six games when facing a team with a losing record.
