Bettors love Suns, Grizzlies on Tuesday
Bettors love a couple of road favorites to cover their respective spreads on Tuesday night in the NBA.
Our NBA Public Betting page shows that 75% of public bettors are currently backing the Suns to cover as 3-point road favorites versus the Nets tonight. Bettors are also high on the Grizzlies (72%), who are 1-point road favorites over the Pelicans according to oddsmakers from online sports book RealBet.eu.
In somewhat of a surprise, fan-favorite Cleveland isn’t receiving a ton of backing for its game versus Washington tonight at 7:00PM ET. Only 54% of bettors are taking the Cavs to cover as a 9-point favorite over the visiting Wizards tonight. Perhaps that’s because LeBron and Co. are just 7-10 against the spread this season and 4-6 at the betting window in their last 10 games. (Not that the Wizards are any bettor at 6-8 ATS on the year and 4-6 ATS over their last 10.)
Bettors also give a slight edge to the 76ers (51%) to cover versus the Lakers, the Magic (51%) to cover as a 1.5-point road underdog versus the Timberwolves, and the Mavericks (51%) to cover as a 1.5-point underdog at Portland.
