Phoenix Suns DFS Notes
Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Suns star Devin Booker is expected to miss a few games with a left hamstring injury. Booker left Tuesday’s marquee matchup against the Warriors in the second quarter, but the team still got the win and he looked to be in good spirits as he was cheering his team on from the bench. Per the report, the injury is considered minor and the Suns plan to err on the side of caution with plenty of the regular season still left to play. Cam Johnson may get the biggest boost and could possibly start for however long Book is sidelined, and Chris Paul will have some more scoring responsibilities as well.
Golden State Warriors DFS Notes
Steph Curry hit just 4-of-21 shots and 3-of-14 3-pointers for 12 points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 36 minutes of Tuesday’s 104-96 loss to the Suns. The Suns won despite losing Devin Booker (hamstring) in the second quarter and Curry couldn’t throw it in the ocean tonight. Jordan Poole and Otto Porter were the only Warriors to show up for this one, which is surprising since it was such a big game. The Suns got their 17th straight win, tied the Warriors for the league’s best record at 18-3, and the Warriors were held under 100 points for the first time in their last 44 games. Curry will look to get back on track against the Suns on Friday, but this time it will be on the Dubs’ home turf. We fully expect Curry to exact his revenge in that game.
