Spurs vs. Hawks Public Betting: Bettors Leaning with San Antonio
Our NBA Public Betting Information page indicates that 51% of public bettors are currently backing the Spurs when it comes to the spread. This information is subject to change throughout the day, however, so be sure to check the link so you’re receiving the most up-to-date public betting data.
Fox set too make his Spurs debut
De’Aaron Fox is listed as available for Wednesday’s matchup with Atlanta. Fox has been upgraded to available, so we’ll get our first glimpse of him alongside new running mate Victor Wembanyama. Chris Paul is questionable with a finger issue and, if he’s unable to go, Fox could slot in as the team’s starting PG immediately.
Young listed as probable to face Spurs
Trae Young (Achilles) is probable for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs. Young has consistently appeared on recent Hawks injury reports due to right Achilles tendinitis, but he hasn’t had to miss time. Look for him to be in the starting lineup on Wednesday. However, if something were to change and Young could not play, Keaton Wallace would move into the starting lineup. He’s worth streaming in that scenario.
Spurs vs. Hawks NBA Prediction:
Take the over. In the last 10 meetings between these two teams, the over is 8-2. One of those eight occurrences happened on December 19 of this season, when the Spurs defeated the Hawks 133-126 in overtime in San Antonio. The over has also been profitable in previous Spurs games as well, cashing in eight out of their last 10 games overall. Finally, the over is a perfect 3-0 in the Hawks’ last three games.
