Houston Rockets DFS Notes
Kevin Porter Jr. (left thigh bruise) is questionable for Monday’s game vs. the Hornets. KPJ hasn’t played since Dec. 3, so if he is cleared for tomorrow’s game, he’ll likely be on a minutes limit on the front end of a back-to-back. His return would likely result in Eric Gordon returning to the second unit and guys like Josh Christopher and Armoni Brooks would take a bit of a hit.
Charlotte Hornets DFS Notes
P.J. Washington (health and safety protocols) will not be available for Monday’s game against the Rockets. Washington and Miles Bridges entered league protocols Sunday afternoon, which will leave the Hornets down two important members of their frontcourt rotation. Washington’s absence means that even more will be asked of Mason Plumlee in the middle, while young centers such as Nick Richards and Vernon Carey Jr. may pick up some rotation minutes. Neither Richards nor Carey is worth streaming, regardless of league format. Plumlee, who’s rostered in 39% of Yahoo leagues, should be picked up if available.
