Lonzo Ball is questionable to play on Tuesday against the Jazz due to knee tendonitis. Ball practiced in full on Monday and said the plan was for him to take three games off and play on Tuesday. He said he’d been dealing with pain in his knee for a while, and management told him to take time away, but he’s now feeling a lot better. If Ball does return, expect Nickeil Alexander-Walker to return to the bench, and for Kira Lewis Jr.’s minutes to drop.
Utah Jazz DFS Spin
Donovan Mitchell went 7-of-20 from the field and 4-of-4 from the line for 18 points, seven assists, three boards, one steal, two blocks and four turnovers across 38 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Nuggets. Mitchell threw down an impressive dunk to start the game, but he then went on to brick his next nine attempts and finished the game 0-of-7 from distance. He was getting good looks at the rim and from 3-point territory, but he just couldn’t get his shot to drop — although he still came through with some clutch buckets late in the game. We’d expect a more efficient effort on Tuesday vs. the Pelicans.
Pelicans vs. Jazz Betting Prediction
The Pelicans are just 4-10-1 against the spread in their last 15 games versus the Nuggets and 2-6 against the number in their last eight games as a road underdog. The Jazz, meanwhile, are 5-0 against the spread in their last five games overall, are 4-0 against the number in their last four games as a favorite and are 9-3-1 at the betting window in their last 13 home games when facing a team with a losing road record.
