On a night in which the Pelicans guards struggled mightily, it was Davis who did the heavy lifting and kept the visitors afloat before the Celtics pulled away in the fourth quarter. Looking healthy just one day after a hip injury limited him to 26 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Pistons, the 6’10 forward has now scored 40 points or more in a game four times this season.
