Denver Nuggets DFS Notes
Nikola Jokic shot 6-of-12 from the field and 8-of-9 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 130-115 loss to the Timberwolves, recording a line of 21 points, 16 rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes. Jokic, who fell two assists shy of his 13th triple-double of the season, was originally questionable for Tuesday’s game due to a sore toe on his right foot. The reigning MVP was able to play 30 minutes, but he didn’t get much help from his teammates in Tuesday’s blowout defeat. The toe issue is something to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Jazz. The good news is that, if Jokic does play, he won’t have to deal with Rudy Gobert (calf). Hassan Whiteside is a far more appealing matchup for The Joker.
Utah Jazz DFS Notes
Donovan Mitchell (concussion) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets. Mitchell will miss yet another game due to the concussion, and with Joe Ingles (torn ACL) done for the season, it remains to be seen who will fill the void in the starting lineup. Trent Forrest (ankle), who hasn’t been on the fantasy radar for most of this season, is the most likely option to start next to Mike Conley provided he’s cleared to play. Look for Jordan Clarkson’s usage to remain high in the sixth man role, while starter Bojan Bogdanovic will continue to get more shots as well.
