James Harden (left thigh contusion) is questionable against the Wizards on Sunday. Harden’s averaging 39.9 minutes since joining the Nets, so it wouldn’t be shocking to see Brooklyn be cautious with their newly-acquired star guard. If he sits, expect Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant’s numbers to see a boost. Bruce Brown could also play more minutes.
Washington Wizards DFS Spin
After Friday night’s loss to the Hawks, Russell Westbrook spoke with reporters and said he’s feeling really good after his recent quad injury. “I just feel better. My body, my leg; everything’s feeling better. I will be fine,” he said. Scott Brooks also commented on Westbrook’s improving status, “The good thing is Russell is better. The last two games he’s played, he’s been able to attack,” Brooks said. “He’s been able to get to the free-throw line and make layups. That’s what he does and he wasn’t able to do that consistently early on.” Despite getting ejected last night, this is a good sign for Russ after he had one of his best games of the season with 26/5/4/1. He’ll look to keep things rolling tomorrow vs the Nets.
