Kevin Durant won’t play against the Lakers on Thursday due to a mild left hamstring strain. Durant missed Tuesday’s game with the injury and now he’ll sit again. It’s a bummer we won’t get to see the complete Lakers/Nets game experience without Durant or Anthony Davis in action. KD’s absence will give Jeff Green, Bruce Brown, and Timothe Luwawu-Cabbarrot a lot of opportunities. Green scored 18 points with two made 3-pointers on Tuesday.
Los Angeles Lakers DFS Spin
LeBron James had it going on Tuesday vs. the Wolves, finishing with 30 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and a steal in 38 minutes. He had an efficient shoot night against Minnesota, knocking down 13-of-20 shots, 3-of-4 free throws with a 3-pointer in a 112-104 win. Surprisingly, it was only his fifth game of the season, too, but there’s more to come now that Anthony Davis (calf) is out for at least a few weeks. Expect boosted Bron numbers until at least the All-Star break and consider selling high in a 2-for-1 swap if you’re looking for depth.
Nets vs. Lakers Betting Prediction
The Nets are 7-2-1 against the spread in their last 10 road games versus the Lakers and have covered four straight overall. They’re also 4-1 against the number in their last five games as an underdog and have covered in five of their last six games after scoring more than 125 points in their previous game.
