Kevin Durant (left MCL sprain) has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against the Bucks. Nets coach Steve Nash said that KD could return within his next three games, but he won’t be coming back tomorrow evening. He’s getting close, and he’s closer than new-Net Ben Simmons, but just hang on for a few more games at most until he’s ready to go. Bruce Brown has proven valuable in KD’s absence, so feel free to keep rolling with him with the awareness that Brown’s fun will be short-lived.
Milwaukee Bucks DFS Notes
Giannis Antetokounmpo ended Thursday’s loss to the Sixers with 32 points, 11 rebounds, nine dimes, three steals and a block. Giannis went for 50 points Tuesday against the Pacers, and in six prior games following a 40-point outing, he averaged just 23.3 points this season with a high of 28. Thursday’s performance broke the mold of those follow-up games, though his near triple-double came up short against another MVP favorite in Joel Embiid. Antetokounmpo’s all-around lines have been particularly impressive over the last two weeks, as he ranks sixth in 9-cat in that span compared to his rank of 11th on the season overall.
