Kings vs. Heat Pick
Are the host Miami Heat going to cruise to a victory tonight when they play the Sacramento Kings at 7:30PM ET?
Who Oddsmakers Like: Miami. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Heat are listed as a 9-point favorite on the spread line. The total is set at 201 points. Miami opened as a 10-point fave, while the over-under has dropped from 202.
Who the Public Likes: Sacramento. As of Thursday afternoon, 53 percent of public bets have come in on the visiting Kings.
Injury Report: Sacramento forward Zach Randolph missed the last game with a sore knee and is questionable for tonight. De’Aaron Fox left the last game with abdominal tightness and his status for tonight is unknown. Harry Giles is recovering from surgery on both knees and is out for the season. Frank Mason is out until late February with a heel injury. For the Heat, Tyler Johnson has missed the last four games with an ankle sprain but is probable to play tonight. Goran Dragic has missed the last two games with a bruised knee, but is expected to return tonight. Dion Waiters is out for the season following ankle surgery. Okaro White is out until mid-February with an ankle injury. Rodney McGruder is out until mid-April as he recovers from a stress fracture in his leg.
Who the Trends Like: Sacramento is 3-12 ATS in its last 15 meetings in Miami. The over is 7-0 in the last seven meetings in Miami and 13-3 in the last 16 meetings overall.
Who We Like: The Kings have had awful history in Miami and are going to possibly be without Randolph plus Fox tonight. With the Heat getting some reinforcements back in Johnson and Dragic, I have to like the Heat to roll here. This is Sacramento’s fourth straight road game and despite ending an eight-game losing streak with a 105-99 win at the Magic, it has to be a travel-weary team right now. Take the hosts here.
